PROGRAMS
Sports and Rec (Grades 6-8)
The fall semester of Sports and Rec for Grades 6-8 will begin on Tuesday, September 9. Only registered students are allowed to participate in the program. Registration forms have been given to the students.
Keyboarding Class
Mrs. Watters will offer a keyboarding class for students in Grades 4 - 6, on Tuesday and Thursday mornings (7:25-7:55 a.m.) from September 9 -
December 4. Registration forms have been given to the students.
Music Department News
The registration deadline is extended to Tuesday, September 2, at 9:00 a.m. for lessons in all instruments including clarinet, flute, recorder, violin, viola, ‘cello, guitar and piano (you must have a traditional piano in the home). Walk for the Poor
The St. Vincent de Paul Society is sponsoring a fundraising Walk For The Poor on Saturday, September 27, at Lake Merced. Mass begins at 7:00 a.m., and the walk begins at 8:00 a.m. Register online www.svdp-sf.org
PARENT MEETINGS
New Parent Meeting
If your family is new to St. Cecilia School this year, we invite you to attend the meeting for new parents on Thursday, August 28, at 7:30 p.m., in the Lower Church. Park in the schoolyard and enter by the open door. At this meeting we will explain school procedures, discuss ways you can be involved in either school or parish ministries, and answer any questions you may have. Please mark your calendars now.
Sacramental Parent Meetings
Each year we have parent meetings for the Sacraments of Reconciliation, Eucharist, and Confirmation. Please put these dates on your calendars! The first meeting for parents of children receiving these sacraments will be on Tuesday, September 2, at 7:30 p.m. in the Lower Church. Each family must be represented.
