Jaywalking
As a follow-up to last week’s notice, a concerned parent wrote, ”The biggest offenders are those who use Jose as their personal crossing guard. Even this morning during drive-through, many people continued to cross in the middle of 18th Ave, having Jose stop traffic for them. This behavior also interferes with the flow of drive-through. It is bothersome that many people don't see this as jaywalking or don't feel that the rules apply to them.” Please, let’s stop jaywalking!

Silent Auction Quiz Question #2
Besides vacation rentals what are the two other highest bid items at the Silent Auction? The answer is restaurant certificates and tickets to sporting events. Restaurant gift certificates and sporting event tickets end up selling for full cash value and sometimes higher which means they raise a ton of money for our school and parish! If anyone would like to donate a restaurant gift certificate or tickets to a sporting event please see our donor form (click here). Thanks!

Don’t Forget To Tell The Kiddies!
The Silent Auction has a new item that will thrill the kids, so be sure to tell them: VIP passes to the Halloween haunted house at the rectory.
