eNEWSLETTER AND WEDNESDAY ENVELOPE

Next week, November 19, will be the last eNewsletter and Wednesday Envelope for the month — there will be NO newsletter on November 26 because of Thanksgiving vacation! Happy Thanksgiving!

LITTLE SISTERS OF THE POOR
Again this year we have received an appeal from the Little Sisters of the Poor to collect items for their residents at St. Anne’s Home for the Aged. Students can bring their donations to the classrooms from Monday, November 17 through Friday, November 21.
Requested items include: Kleenex, toothpaste, baby powder, moisturizing skin lotion, shampoo, all bars of soap (except Ivory).

ONLINE SCIENCE TEXTBOOKS
Grades K - 5 & 7: Username and Password

Last week a note went home for Grades K - 5 and 7 with your child’s username and password which will allow online access to your child’s science textbook. These usernames and passwords do not change every year.
Please bookmark your home computer by going to www.pearsonsuccessnet.com Type in your username and password, and then bookmark the site. Remember it is case sensitive.

Thanksgiving Retreat

Ninth Annual Post-Thanksgiving Family CYO Camp November 28—November 30 (Friday 1:00 p.m.—Sunday 1:00 p.m.) The Staff will be Msgr. Harriman and parishioners.
Enjoy our unique St. Cecilia Parish Family spirit together at CYO Center in the heart of the Redwoods in Occidental, California. Activities for the entire family (children, teens and adults) as well as time in separate groups. Free baby-sitting for 3-6 year-olds. All six meals will be provided at the retreat center. You choose...come as a family...or come as an individual. Stay at the Center ...up to 12 beds per heated cabin, or stay at a motel in Occidental for an additional fee. You may drive or be part of a car pool.

WHEN: We will begin on Friday, November 28th at 1:00 p.m. and end on Sunday, November 30th at 1:00 p.m

COST: $100.00 per Adult; $50.00 per youth ages 8-18; (children 7 and under FREE). This includes 6 meals, beautiful heated sleeping cabins, as well as use of all facilities, including heated lodge, heated pool, campfire areas, basketball and volleyball courts, outdoor chapel, playing field, and hiking trails. For those choosing to stay at the motel in Occidental, there is an additional $250 for a room with 2 double beds for 2 nights. Click here for the Registration Form!

TEAM PARTIES
Please note that “end-of-the-season” team parties will NO longer be allowed on parish property. There have been many incidents of unsupervised children in the schoolyard and a recent incident of a child being injured.


ATTENTION: ALL VOLLEYBALL PLAYERS & PARENTS
As soon as your season ends, please return your cleaned uniform in a bag with your name, grade, and coaches' name on it. Leave the bag on the bench by the school office.

GIRLS' SOCCER COACHES
Mary Ann Paul is looking for coaches for the girls' soccer season which is quickly approaching!
Grades 3 needs 2 coaches; Grade 4 needs 2 coaches; Grade 6 needs 1 coach; Grade 7 needs 1 coach; Grade 8 needs 1 coach.
