Who Can Apply
A child must be able to speak and understand English.
At St. Cecilia, the developmental or behavioral age of the child is a strong factor in considering acceptance. The developmental age is the level at which the child is functioning: physically, emotionally, intellectually, and socially. Intellectual development and/or chronological age are not guarantees of readiness.
It is not necessary to live within the geographical boundaries of St. Cecilia Parish to attend the school. However, it is important for parents to know that becoming involved in the parish, of which the school is an integral part, can provide a sense of rootedness, belonging, and community for the child as well as for the parents.
